1) Why doesn’t RaffleTix offer PayPal as a payment option?

RaffleTix does not offer PayPal as a payment option because PayPal prohibits the sale of raffle tickets.

RaffleTix utilises the Stripe payment processing platform, now considered one of the most popular and secure of all the payment processing services available.

RaffleTix accepts Visa and Mastercard credit or debit cards, and American Express. Your credit or debit card details are encrypted and the details are NOT stored.

2) Why can’t I buy in SA or WA?

Unfortunately, due to the SA/WA State Regulations, Young Veterans does not meet the requirements for being able to get a permit to sell tickets in South/West Australia. 

For these reasons, this raffle has had to exclude residents from WA and SA from entering the raffle. 

3) What is the RaffleTix privacy policy?

At RaffleTix, we take every possible step to ensure we safely store sensitive personal information that is gathered over the course of your raffle. RaffleTix will not exploit this information in any manner. The Information collected over the course of the raffle will not be used other than to generate reports for the fundraising beneficiary to keep record and meet the necessary government policies.

4) How old must I be to purchase a ticket?

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a ticket

5) I live overseas, can I enter the raffle? 

Raffle ticket purchases external to Australia are NOT permitted. Only residents of Queensland, Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania are permitted to enter this raffle. 

6) What payment types are accepted?

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. PayPal is not accepted. PayPal does not allow the sale of raffle tickets.

This raffle is not a scam, and is run by Young Veterans Australia. The permit numbers for this raffle can be found at the bottom of the raffle page, and in the terms and conditions.
